HFEM envision being a leader in HF/E development by developing the discipline, profession, and contributing to the society at large.  HFEM vision is guided by 8 goals:

  1. Take a local, regional, and global responsibility.
  2. Remain at the forefront of technological and scientific development.
  3. Disseminate information about HFE/HCI on a global scale.
  4. Facilitate communication among professionals www.victoryag.org
  5. Develop guidelines for educational accreditation and professional certification.
  6. Seek new sources of funding.
  7. Members be given opportunities in HFEM business by doing special projects.
  8. Recruit new members actively.

An Action Plan for the goals has a lifespan of 3 years.

HFEM will become a member of the International Ergonomics Association (IEA), a federation of the world’s 47 ergonomics societies, within three years of its existence.
