SOHELP Training for ALCOM

15 April 2025. HFEM Academy successfully conducted an in-house SOHELP Training for Aluminium Company of Malaysia Berhad (ALCOM) on 14–15 April 2025 at Wyndham Acmar Klang Hotel, Selangor. Facilitated by Dr. Vivien How, the two-day session brought together 35 participants, focusing on the effective implementation of SOHELP elements tailored to ALCOM’s operational needs. The training was well-received, providing valuable insights and practical strategies to enhance occupational safety and health practices within the organization.

Ergonomics Trained Person (ETP) Level 2

23 April 2025. HFEM Academy successfully conducted the Ergonomics Risk Assessment Training for Ergonomics Trained Person (ETP) Level 2 – Advanced on 22–23 April 2025 at Bangi Resort Hotel, Selangor. Led by Ts. Dr. Hari Krishnan Tamil Selvan, this two-day session provided an in-depth exploration of advanced ergonomics risk assessment techniques, incorporating AERA tools such as REBA, ROSA, MAC, RAPP, and ART. A total of 32 participants from various industries attended, gaining hands-on experience in identifying and managing complex ergonomic risks. Through expert-led discussions, practical case studies, and collaborative activities, attendees enhanced their skills in applying these methodologies to improve workplace safety and productivity. The training was well-received, emphasizing the importance of advanced ergonomics in fostering safer, more efficient work environments across diverse sectors.

HFEM Expert Talk: Workplace Ergonomics – Trends and Future Innovations

24 April 2025. HFEM Academy hosted an engaging Expert Talk featuring Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dian Darina Indah Daruis on Workplace Ergonomics: Trends and Future Innovations. In this insightful one-hour session, attended by 45 participants, Dr. Dian Darina shared groundbreaking perspectives on the latest trends and innovations in ergonomics. The session sparked stimulating discussions on the future of workplace safety, efficiency, and employee well-being, providing valuable takeaways for professionals eager to stay at the forefront of the field.
