KUALA LUMPUR – The upcoming INTERNATIONAL ERGOLYMPIC 2026 is set to become a major platform for innovation and creativity in ergonomics and human factors design, bringing together participants from around the world. Organized as the Official Side Event of the URIIS 2026, the competition aims to highlight future-ready, human-centred solutions for modern living and industry.

Carrying the theme, “Designing Human-Centred Futures: Ergonomics for Products, Mobility, Workplaces, and Everyday Living,” the event will welcome students, universities, startups, professionals, researchers, and industry players to present innovative ideas and designs focused on improving human interaction, safety, comfort, and efficiency.

Participants will compete for prizes worth up to RM20,000, with the Grand Finale scheduled to take place on 21 September 2026 at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur.

Organizers have announced that submissions for the international competition will close on 30 June 2026, encouraging innovators and aspiring designers to submit their best human-centred projects before the deadline.
