4 February 2026. The Understanding Chemical Health Risks and Chemical Health Risk Assessment (CHRA) session was successfully conducted via an online platform, providing participants with valuable insights into chemical hazard identification, exposure pathways, risk evaluation, and control measures in the workplace. The session was delivered by Dr. Vivien How, who shared practical knowledge on managing chemical health risks and the importance of conducting CHRA to ensure worker safety and regulatory compliance. Organised by HFEM Academy, the programme aimed to enhance participants’ awareness and competency in recognising chemical-related hazards and implementing appropriate preventive strategies to promote safer and healthier work environments.
10-11 February 2026. The Ergonomic Risk Assessment (ERA) for Ergonomic Trained Person (ETP) Level 2 (Advanced) session was successfully conducted at HFEM Academy, Seri Kembangan. Facilitated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dian Darina Indah Daruis, the training provided participants with in-depth guidance on applying multiple ergonomic assessment methods, including REBA, ROSA, MAC, RAPP, and ART, to evaluate workplace risk factors related to manual handling, repetitive tasks, and office work. Through practical exercises and case discussions, participants enhanced their competency in selecting appropriate assessment tools, analysing risk levels, and proposing effective intervention strategies to improve worker safety, health, and productivity across various industry settings.
