HIGHLIGHT OF THE MONTH

Human Factors and Ergonomics Awaress at ATB Sdn. Bhd

18 June 2025.The Human Factors & Ergonomics Awareness Training, along with the in-house Office Ergonomics session with ATB Sdn. Bhd. (Vitol Group), was successfully conducted in Johor with the participation of around 30 staff. Led by Prof. Shamsul Bahri Md. Tamrin, the session focused on enhancing awareness of ergonomic principles and practical applications in the office setting to improve employee health, comfort, and productivity. This initiative reflects ATB’s ongoing commitment to promoting a safe and ergonomically sound work environment for its workforce.

Introduction to Organizational Ergonomics

16 June 2025. HFEM Academy successfully conducted a Zoom training session titled Introduction to Organizational Ergonomics, facilitated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nor Wahiza Abdul Wahat. Attended by 12 participants from diverse sectors, the session provided a comprehensive overview of organizational ergonomics, focusing on communication, teamwork, and system design. Participants were actively engaged in a case study exercise, allowing them to apply the concepts learned in a practical context. The session emphasized the importance of aligning organizational practices with human capabilities to foster a healthier, more efficient, and productive workplace.
