A Human Factors and Ergonomics Awareness in-house training was conducted with Aluminium Company of Malaysia Berhad on 17 November 2025 in Klang, Selangor. The programme was facilitated by Dr Ng Yee Guan and attended by 25 participants from their staff, with a focus on strengthening awareness of human factors and ergonomics principles to improve workplace safety, performance, and effectiveness.
A Basic Cognitive Ergonomic Assessments in an Occupational Setting (Physical Session) was conducted on 28 November 2025 (Friday) from 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM (Half Day) at HFEM Academy, Seri Kembangan. The session was facilitated by Dr. Ummi Noor Nazahiah Abdullah and focused on introducing participants to fundamental cognitive ergonomic assessment principles and their application in occupational settings. This session was open to the public and free of charge
An Ergonomic Risk Assessment Training for Ergonomics Trained Person (ETP) Level 1 – Initial was conducted as a public training on 18–19 November 2025 at Bangi Resort Hotel. The programme was facilitated by Ts Dr Zubairy and attended by 20 participants, focusing on developing fundamental skills in ergonomic risk assessment to support safer and healthier workplace environments.
An Ergonomic Risk Assessment Training for Ergonomics Trained Person (ETP) Level 2 – Advanced was conducted as a public training on 26–27 November 2025 at the HFEM Academy Training Room, Seri Kembangan. The programme focused on specialised ergonomic assessment methods, including Workplace Lighting Assessment, Heat Stress Evaluation and Control, and Vibration Exposure Assessment, aimed at strengthening advanced competencies in managing physical workplace risk factors.
An Ergonomic Risk Assessment Training for Ergonomics Trained Person (ETP) Level 2 – Advanced was conducted as a public training on 18–19 November 2025 at the NRG-SHE Training Room, Seberang Jaya, Pulau Pinang. The programme was facilitated by Prof. Dr Shamsul Bahri Tamrin and covered advanced ergonomic assessment methods, namely REBA, ROSA, MAC, RAPP & ART, to enhance participants’ competency in conducting comprehensive and systematic ergonomic risk assessments, particularly for the Northern Region.
An ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Safety and Health Management System (OSHMS) with Effective Risk Management and Operational Efficiency Awareness Training was conducted as a public training on 24–25 November 2025 at the HFEM Academy Training Room, Seri Kembangan. Facilitated by Mr Irsyad Danish Khor, this programme was one of the initiatives by HFEM Academy to venture into and offer Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) courses to the public, aimed at enhancing understanding of OSHMS requirements, effective risk management, and operational efficiency in line with ISO 45001:2018.
An Ergonomic Risk Assessment Training for Ergonomics Trained Person (ETP) Level 2 – Advanced was conducted at Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz (HUKM), Kuala Lumpur on 25–26 November 2025. The programme was facilitated by Prof. Dr Baba Deros and focused on advanced ergonomic risk assessment methods, namely REBA, ROSA, MAC, RAPP & ART, to enhance participants’ competency in conducting systematic and comprehensive ergonomic risk assessments in healthcare and workplace settings.
