

HFEM Academy successfully conducted a one-day Office Ergonomic (Online Session) on 2 April 2026 via Zoom, with approximately 12 participants from various industries. The session, delivered by Assoc. Prof. Ts Dr Velu Perumal KMW CiDe, provided practical insights on ergonomic principles, proper workstation setup, and strategies to reduce musculoskeletal risks in office environments. Despite the online setting, the session was interactive and engaging, allowing participants to actively share experiences and gain valuable, applicable knowledge to improve workplace comfort, safety, and productivity.


HFEM Academy successfully conducted the Ergonomic Risk Assessment Training for Ergonomics Trained Person (ETP) Level 1: Initial on 7–8 April 2026 at Bangi Resort Hotel, with approximately 12 participants in attendance. The two-day session, led by Ts. Asyraf Che Doi, provided participants with fundamental knowledge and practical skills in conducting ergonomic risk assessments, including identifying workplace hazards, applying assessment techniques, and understanding DOSH requirements. The training was interactive and hands-on, enabling participants to actively engage, share experiences, and build confidence in applying ergonomic principles at their respective workplaces.


HFEM Academy successfully conducted the Ergonomic Risk Assessment Training for Ergonomics Trained Person (ETP) Level 2: Advanced Extended Version on 21–22 April 2026 at HFEM Academy, Seri Kembangan, with a group of committed participants who had previously completed the AERA Level. Led by Prof. Dr. Baba Md Deros, the two-day training focused on advanced ergonomic assessment methods including QEC, RSI, RNLE, and the Snook Table, equipping participants with deeper analytical skills and practical application techniques. The session was intensive and highly engaging, enabling participants to strengthen their competency in conducting comprehensive ergonomic risk assessments and enhancing workplace safety and performance.




The recent HFEM Expert Talk free webinar, a training teaser session on Organizational Ergonomics, focused on strengthening communication and feedback loops in both physical and virtual teams. The 1-hour session provided valuable insights into improving team interaction, minimizing communication gaps, and enhancing overall workplace performance through practical ergonomic approaches. As a preview of HFEM Academy’s upcoming programmes, the session successfully introduced participants to key concepts while highlighting the importance of effective communication systems in today’s evolving work environments, with around 20 participants in attendance.


The Systematic Occupational Health Enhancement Level Program (SOHELP), held on 28–29 April 2026 at HFEM Academy, Seri Kembangan, successfully brought together participants from various companies and industries. Aligned with DOSH guidelines, the programme was designed to guide participating companies in developing and strengthening their occupational health management systems through a structured and systematic approach. Led by Dr. Vivien How, the session equipped attendees with practical knowledge and tools to enhance workplace well-being, ensure regulatory compliance, and effectively manage occupational health risks within their organisations.


HFEM Academy successfully conducted an in-house HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control) Training for Guper Integrated Logistics Sdn Bhd on 29 April 2026 at their training facility in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. The session was delivered by En. Irsyad Danish, who guided participants through the fundamentals and practical application of HIRARC, including hazard identification, risk evaluation, and effective control measures. The one-day training was interactive and tailored to the company’s operational context, enabling participants to actively engage, discuss workplace scenarios, and strengthen their capability in managing occupational safety and health risks within their organization.
HFEM Academy successfully conducted the Organizational Ergonomics Series 1 titled “Why Teams Miscommunicate (Even When They Think They Don’t): The Organizational Ergonomics Fix” via Zoom, with approximately 15 participants in attendance. The session was delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nor Wahiza Abdul Wahat, who shared valuable insights on the underlying causes of workplace miscommunication and how organizational ergonomics can be applied to improve team interactions and effectiveness. The session was engaging and thought-provoking, with participants actively contributing to discussions and gaining practical strategies to enhance communication, collaboration, and overall organizational performance.
