Design Thinking Bootcamp

26-27 Sept 2022 – SIG Ergonomics in Design for All organized a 2-days Design Thinking Bootcamp at UPM Serdang. Participants learned how to solve problems using tools and concepts of design thinking, with an emphasis on listening, user empathy, whole brain thinking, collaboration, and experimentation.

19 October 2022 – SIG Ergonomics in Design for All (EinDfA) has successfully conducted the seminar at Fakulti Kejuruteraan & Teknologi Mekanikal, UniMAP, attended by 37 participants. The seminar was delivered by Ts. Norashiken Othman from SIG EinDfA.

Seminar on Workplace Ergonomics Controls in Manufacturing Industry

27 October 2022 – Three spearkers; Ts. Muhammad Naqiuddin (ErgoLead), Dr Radin Zaid Radin Umar (UTeM) and Ts. Mohd Asyraf Che Doi (UniMAP), were invited to discuss the challenges that faced by industry practitioners on ergonomics controls in manufacturing workplaces.

Webinar on Future Ready of the Ergonomics Workforce

28 October 2022 – HFEM under Student Chapter has organized a Webinar on Future Ready of the Ergonomics Workforce on 28 October 2022. Five speakers were invited to share their experience from different industries and academic background. This webinar attracted 40 students who were interested in ergonomics and human factors fields.

Seminar on Heavy Goods Vehicle Safety

11 October 2022 – HFEM had collaborated with MIROS in organizing the Heavy Goods Vehicle Safety Seminar 2022. The seminar was held at MIROS Kajang, Selangor and attended by 35 participants. This seminar offers a platform for researchers, policy makers, regulators, road agencies and others to exchange knowledge and experiences.

HFEM conducted 13 ERA training or Ergonomics Trained Person

Up to December 2022, HFEM has conducted  a total of 6 sessions of Initial Ergonomics Risk Assessment (iERA) and 7 sessions of Advanced Ergonomics Risk Assessment (aERA) trainings. The trainings were delivered in virtual and face-to-face session by DOSH certified trainers from HFEM expert group.
