Workshop on the Development of Ergonomics Guideline for Agriculture Sector

Through several workshop sessions, Special Interest Group (SIG) Occupational Ergonomics under HFEM has engaged with various stakeholders and practitioners for gathering inputs in developing the Ergonomics Guidelines for Agriculture sector.
 
The 3rd series of workshop was held on 21-22 June 2023 in UPM Serdang, and participated by 10 practitioners from the industry.

Seminar Celik Kepenggunaan – Hubungan reka bentuk produk ergonomik berpusatkan pengguna ke atas pembelian dalam talian

Pada 23 Jun 2023, HFEM dengan kerjasama Community Resiliance and Experential  Learning (CARE) dan Fakulti Kejuruteraan & Teknologi Mekanikal, UniMAP, dan Kolej Komuniti Bandar Darulaman telah menganjurkan kursus jangka pendek sempena ‘National Training Week (NTW) 2023. Program ini mendapat tajaan geran daripada Kementerian Kepenggunaan Dalam Negeri dan Kos Sara Hidup (KPDN).

Program yang dianjurkan secara atas talian ini dihadiri oleh 64 orang peserta yang terdiri daripada ahli Persatuan Isteri dan Kakitangan Wanita UniMAP (PISKANITA) dan warga UniMAP.

Pengisian program ini disampaikan oleh Ts. Norashiken binti Othman dan Prof Madya Ts Dr. Noormaizatul Akmar binti Ishak dari UniMAP.

Modul 1: Pengenalan: Pemerkasaan Pengguna

Modul 2: Ergonomik, Faktor Manusia berpusatkan pengguna:

  • Faktor manusia dan ergonomik berpusatkan pengguna dalam Reka Bentuk Produk.
  • Pengaruh faktor manusia dan ergonomik berpusatkan pengguna dalam tingkahlaku keputusan pembelian dalam talian.

Modul 3: Ergonomik, Faktor Manusia & Keselamatan:

  • Kecederaan dan Kemalangan akibat rekabentuk yang tidak selamat.
  • Akta dan Standard Keselamatan dan Ergonomik Produk Pengguna
Modul 4: Pengaruh Keputusan Pembelian ke atas Kesedaran Kewangan:

  • Tingkahlaku Pembelian dalam talian: Kemahuan versus Keperluan
  • Kesan Perbelanjaan di luar kawalan ke atas taraf kewangan

Modul 5: Etika Kepenggunaan

  • Pengaruh gelagat pembelian pengguna ke atas strategi perniagaan dalam talian.
  • Etika pereka bentuk, pengeluar produk dan peniaga dalam mempengaruhi   pengguna dalam talian.

Seminar ini diikuti oleh seramai 595 orang pelajar UniMAP, terutamanya dari Fakulti Perniagaan dan Komunikasi.

On 2 May 2023, HFEM was invited to deliver a training on Ergonomics at Office for Bollore Logistics Malaysia Sdn Bhd. The training was participated by 20 internal staff.
 
Office Ergonomics is one of the crucial knowledge that required by industries. This is to ensure all staff aware of ergonomics risks within workstation and apply appropriate measures to improve their day-to-day safety and health.

HFE collaborated with UniMAP on Design Thinking Bootcamp (Ergobility 2022)

On 16-17 December 2022, HFEM organized 2-days Design Thinking Bootcamp: Ergobility 2022 at Fakulti Teknologi Kejuruteraan Mekanikal (FKTM) A (DPU2/MPU1), UniMAP. The program was participated 40 students and practitioners. 

As a means to quickly spread the basic of Design Thinking throughout as many participants as possible, the 2 days bootcamp on the basic of Design Thinking and its application as the framework for innovation is proposed, here are a handful of facilitators in the art of Design Thinking shall tour the country and conducting as many bootcamps as possible. In order that skills learned in these bootcamps are not lost, ErgoLympic 2023 where participants can further improve their skills must be setup.

The objectives of the Bootcamp are to train participants to be able to:

  • Define what is innovation and understand the difference between innovation, creativity, and invention
  • Know the taxonomy and types of innovations
  • Familiar with the framework for creative making based on Design Thinking
  • Apply the technique of understanding and observation as a means to gather inspiration
  • Familiar with a number of effective thinking techniques and their application to generate ideas
  • Apply prototyping techniques to evaluate ideas
  • Understand the importance of ergonomics value in design and innovation and be able to estimate them
  • Use appropriate communication techniques to communicate concepts and ideas
